Dell unveils new XPS, Inspiron, Alienware, and G Series notebooks in India

“The new models include XPS 13, XPS 15, Alienware M15 (R2), G3, Inspiron 7000 series, and Inspiron 5000 series” 

Dell has announced a bunch of new notebooks across the XPS, Inspiron, Alienware, and G series. A total of 12 products have been unveiled with new features, design improvements, and the latest hardware. The new devices come with up to 10th generation Intel Core processors and offer sleek designs, especially in the XPS and Inspiron range. The new XPS 13 (7390) and XPS 15 (7950) get better design, longer battery life, and other changes. The Inspiron 7000 and 5000 series also offer improved design, new hardware, and more. Dell has also announced the Alienware m15 (R2) and the G3 3590 gaming laptops. 

Dell XPS 13 and XPS 15

The new Dell XPS 13 and the XPS 15 bring improvements over the older models. First, the XPS 13 now places the front camera in the right place, above the display. However, Dell has managed to shrink the camera and include super slim bezels all around. The laptop can be configured with either a Full HD 13.3-inch display or a 4K UHD touch panel. As for the internals, the XPS 13 comes with up to 10th generation Intel Core i7 10510U processor, 16GB DDR3 RAM, and 4x 512GB SSD storage. It gets Intel UHD graphics, Intel Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Backlit chiclet style keyboard, and a 52WHr battery.

A fingerprint scanner is embedded into the power button and it also supports Windows Hello. Dell states that the XPS 13 will now offer better heat dissipation and cooling thanks to upgraded thermals. It also gets a much more durable body and hinge.

Meanwhile, the XPS 15 is equipped with up to 9th generation Intel Core i7 9980HK processor, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics, plenty of PCIe SSD storage, and a 15.6-inch OLED 4K display. The key specification here is that 4K OLED display, which should make the XPS 15 a great laptop for editing photos/videos and also watching them. It gets a 93Whr battery, which according to Dell, provides the best battery life on any 15-inch laptop. Both XPS 13 and XPS 15 offer Dolby Vision and Waves MaxxAudio Pro sound. 

XPS 15

The Dell XPS 13 will start at Rs 113,990 and will be available for purchase on October 2nd. On the other hand, the XPS 15 will go on sale from September 24th and start at Rs 166,990. 

Dell Inspiron 7000 and 5000 Series

Along with the XPS lineup, Dell has announced a new range of Inspiron laptops. The newly launched products include, Inspiron 14 7490, Inspiron 14 5490, Inspiron 15 5590, Inspiron 5593, and a bunch of 2-in-1 laptops and All-in-one’s. The Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 7391 features a new hinge that can hide the Active Pen. Dell has included new Adaptive Thermal technology on the new 7000 series 2-in-1 products. 

The Inspiron 14 7000 series gets the latest 10th generation Intel Core processors and feature lightweight designs. Dell claims that the Inspiron 14 series can offer up to 21 hours of battery life on a single charge. They also feature Intel WiFi 6, fingerprint scanner, NVMe SSDs, open-lid sensor, and more. 

The Inspiron 14 5490 will start at Rs 57,990, the Inspiron 14 5590 at Rs 41,990, the Inspiron 14 7490 at Rs 86,890, and the Inspiron 15 5593 at Rs 42,990. The Inspiron 14 5490 and 5590 will be available starting September 24th, the the 14 7490 will be available on October 2nd, and the Inspiron 15 5593 can be purchased from October 11th. 

Coming to the Inspiron 24 5490 and Inspiron 27 7790 AIO, these will be available from September 24th and start at Rs 59,990 and Rs 99,990, respectively. The Inspiron 13 7391 and Inspiron 14 5491 will be available from October 2nd and start at Rs 90,290, and Rs 68,990, respectively. 

Dell G3 3590

The Dell G3 3590 is a gaming oriented laptop that can be equipped with up to 9th generation Intel Core i7 9750HQ chipset, 32GB DDR4 RAM, up to 15-inch 144Hz Full HD display, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660ti with 6GB GDDR6 RAM. Dell has included new features such as Game Shift, which allows for maximum fan speed, and also added the Alienware Command Center. It also gets a 4-zone RGB keyboard and a 51Whr battery. 

The G3 3590 will start at Rs 70,990 and will be available for purchase on September 24th. 

Dell Alienware m15 (r2)

Finally, the all new Alienware m15 laptop, which now comes with a 15-inch 4K OLED HDR 400 display that supports Tobii Eye Tracking. It can be configured with up to 9th generation Intel Core i9 9980KH, 16GB DDR4 RAM, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB GDDR6 with MaxQ design, and a 76WHr battery. The new m15 (r2) will start at Rs 188,490 and go on sale from September 24th.
