Dell has updated the XPS 13 laptop with the latest 10th generation Intel Comet Lake U-series processor, including a high-end i7 hexa-core model. It also gets the new Killer AX1650 (2X2) built on Intel Wi-Fi 6 chipset that is claimed to be three times faster than the previous generations. The high-end variant also gets Dell CinemaColor and Dolby Vision and an optional 4K Ultra HD InfinityEdge display. The new machine features a CNC-machined aluminium chassis with a carbon fibre composite or woven glass fibre palm rest. It sports a 13.3-inch LCD display with InfinityEdge bezels and 80.7 percent screen to body ratio.
The Dell XPS 13 packs up to 16GB DRAM as well as a PCIe SSD up to 2TB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0 controller, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5-mm jack. The laptop has 2W speakers with Waves MaxxAudio and a far-field Cortana-capable microphone array. Dell XPS 13 will be available starting from August 27th for $899.99 (around Rs 64,400). While the high-end hexacore Intel Core i7-10710U CPU model will hit the stores in October. Dell is also updating the XPS 13 2-in-1 with the latest Intel’s new 10th generation Core processor. It is also the first 2-in-1 laptop that is Project Athena-verified. The 2-in-1 is already available at $999 ( Rs 71,600) via the Dell website.
Additionally, Dell is also updating Inspiron 13, 15, 17 7000 2-in-1, 14, 15 5000 2-in-1 and 13 5000 laptops with the latest Intel 10th-generation Core processors. These will ship from October 1st. While the Inspiron 24 5000 and 27 77000 all-in-one desktops with 10th-gen Intel processor will be available in the USA from August 23rd starting at $680 (around Rs48,900) and $1,000 (around Rs 71,900), respectively. Lastly, the Dell Vostro 13, 14, 15 models will roll out in the USA from today starting at $850 (around Rs 61,200).
