- Realme C55 to come with iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island-like notch.
- The feature will function as a shortcut for various actions like charging indicator, notification alerts, etc.
- Realme C55 is expected to launch shortly.
Dynamic Island is arguably the most hyped feature on the iPhone 14 Pro series. The pill-shaped punch-hole notch offers an intuitive experience by dynamically changing shape based on different notifications such as calls, battery charging indications, music, and much more. OEMs like Xiaomi are gearing up to add a Dynamic Island-like notch on the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Lite. Now, Realme has confirmed its version of the same. The company is calling it the ‘Realme Mini Capsule’.
Realme Vice President, Madhav Sheth teased (now deleted) their version of Dynamic Island. An exclusive short video clip posted by Smartprix shows the Realme C-series phone will have a regular punch-hole cutout at the centre and the Mini Capsule will expand for various actions like showing a charging indication or to alert when the phone is fully charged.

As shown in the teaser image and the video clip, the Realme Mini Capsule will have software support instead of just being a dead notch to house the camera sensor. The company has confirmed that the feature will be first seen on the upcoming C-series device, which is interestingly an entry-level lineup. As per reports, the phone will be called Realme C55. However, it is not clear what other features the Realme Mini Capsule will have to offer. We can expect shortcuts for incoming calls, alerts, notifications and more.
The teaser image also confirms the phone will come with SuperVOOC fast charging support. As per a report, this will be the first C-series phone to feature 33W fast charging support. The phone is expected to pack a 4,880mAh battery. The phone is expected to boot Android 13-based OneUI 4.0 custom skin out of the box. We should learn more about the phone and the Realme Mini Capsule in the coming days. Stay tuned.
