iQOO Z6 Lite India launch, specifications

According to our sources, the iQOO Z6 Lite will be very similar to the Vivo T1x that was launched in India in July. As a result, it should be a budget-centric 4G smartphone that will come as the base variant of iQOO’s mid-range Z series of phones in the country.

The iQOO Z6 Lite is tipped to be launched in the second week of September giving us about a month’s time until the purported launch of the smartphone. In this time, iQOO India should start offering cues and teasers about the upcoming phone on their social handles, while further information should likely become available on e-commerce portals.

In terms of what the smartphone could offer, the iQOO Z6 Lite is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo T1x smartphone. The latter was powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 4G SoC, along with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also featured a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP dual rear camera setup, an 8MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The iQOO Z6 Lite could offer similar features as well, and be placed beneath the standard iQOO Z6. The latter is powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC, offering 5G connectivity. While the display size is the same, the Z6 comes with 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets an extra 2MP camera unit at the back, and the front camera is upgraded to 16MP. The smartphone also has 8GB of maximum RAM.

Price, colours

Our sources further added that the iQOO Z6 Lite could be priced around Rs 500 to Rs 700 lesser than the Vivo T1x, which is priced between Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 in India. It would also be launched with newer colours than the Vivo T1x, which is available in Gravity Black and Space Blue colour options. However, we are yet to know what the new colour variants of the smartphone would be.
