[Exclusive] Motorola Edge 50 Neo complete specifications, design revealed

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo launch is expected to take place soon as we have another leak about the smartphone. Just last week we revealed that Motorola is working on an Edge 50 Neo smartphone. Now we have another leak that details the Motorola Edge 50 Neo’s specifications along with images revealing its design and colour.

According to details shared by tipster Paras Guglani, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo will feature a 6.4-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is tipped to house a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP secondary, and a 10MP sensor as well. For selfies, it will feature a 32MP front camera.

The upcoming Motorola phone will pack a 4,310mAh battery, run Android 14, and launch with up to 256GB storage. It will feature an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. In terms of dimensions, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo measures 71.2mm x 154.1mm x 8.1mm and weighs 171g.

We also have images of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo in the Gray, Blue, Poinciana, and Milk colour options that were leaked last week. Based on this design, the Edge 50 Neo looks much like the Edge 40 Neo but Motorola is going for a flat display instead of a curved one this time. The Edge 50 Neo also has an additional camera sensor at the back. The smartphone looks like it has a vegan leather finish.

We can also see the Pantone labelling at the back for the phone’s colour. With the extra sensor, the camera module is slightly bigger on the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. Overall, the phone also looks slightly thicker than the Edge 40 Neo.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo will succeed the Edge 40 Neo launched in India last September. Motorola has yet to announce the Edge 50 Neo yet but with most of its details out already, we should get some information soon.
