[Exclusive] New OPPO Phone with similar design as Reno8 T under testing in India, launch imminent

After launching Reno8 T 5G in India, OPPO seems to be testing a new budget phone in the country with the model number CPH2527, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from noted tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. While the hardware details of the phone are under wraps, Sudhanshu tells us the design will be identical to the Reno8 T 5G but without a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a curved screen. Unfortunately, not much else is known about the said OPPO phone but we’re hoping to learn more details soon.

Since the design is said to be identical to the Reno8 T 5G, we can speculate the OPPO CPH2527 will also arrive as a mid-range offering and might be priced slightly lower than the Reno8 T.

OPPO Reno8 T 5G specifications

To recall the OPPO Reno8 T specifications, the phone flaunts a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ 10-bit AMOLED display with a micro-curved design with OPPO glow, 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, and 1080 x 2412 pixel resolution. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC coupled with Adreno GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Running the show is the Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 custom skin out of the box. The Reno8 T 5G is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The OPPO Reno8 T will have triple cameras on the back, with a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 40x MicroLens camera. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.
