“The upcoming smartphone will reportedly be dubbed as Galaxy A5 and sport a 5.7-inch display”
Samsung seems to be working on a new entry-level Galaxy A series smartphone, a trusted source has informed 91mobiles. The smartphone will have the model number SM-A015F and could be the most affordable phone in the A series. While it’s unclear at the moment, the handset could be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A5. We have learned that the Galaxy A5 will feature a 5.7-inch display and 16GB internal storage. Going by the numerical order of the A series, the Galaxy A5 would be placed below the Galaxy A10 as well as the recently launched Galaxy A10s. The chaebol could be launching the phone to take on Xiaomi Redmi 8A in the budget smartphone category.
The handset will most likely boot Android 9 Pie-based Samsung’s One UI custom skin out of the box. The phone may boast of an edge-to-edge screen and could employ either Infinity-V or Infinity-U panel, similar to what we have seen on most modern Samsung phones. There are no other details of the Galaxy A5 smartphone available at the moment. We’ll be keeping a tab on all the updates that follow, so stay tuned to 91mobiles.
