Some Xbox players have managed to update FIFA 23 a month early and access all the game modes including FIFA Ultimate Team. EA managed to spot this quickly and shut down online servers in response. However, players can still play FIFA 23 offline modes like kick-off and career. EA is apparently also banning players who have been caught streaming or posting clips from the game using identifiable information such as account name. This seems pretty unfair as players didn’t really go out of their way to access the game early, but they are being punished for something that isn’t their fault. EA’s approach is pretty similar to what Activision does when gameplay from upcoming games gets leaked early.

Players who tried out FIFA 23 early have leaked player ratings for Liverpool and Arsenal as well as Away and Third kits for Burnley. Some players had also leaked FIFA 23 soundtrack and Liverpool’s Third kit, but those tweets have been seemingly taken down by EA. It’s unclear how long FIFA 23 will be accessible to players who managed to preload it early. That being said, FIFA 23 will be launching for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 30th. The game will come with a revamped chemistry system, enhanced graphics and controls, and a new FUT Moments game mode. For the first time in the franchise history, FIFA 23 will feature women’s football.
