Under this new feature, buyers will get an extra 15 percent off and this applies to select categories like shoes, jackets, kurtas, bags, T-shirts, kids’ clothing, watches and jewellery. Flipkart says that the group must order within 24 hours to avail the additional discount. This feature appears to be available only on mobile as it’s not listed on the homepage. Users have to share the link with one or more friends to get the benefit of the offer.
Flipkart Big Savings Days Sale is all set to start from December 16th to December 21st. As a part of the sale, the e-commerce platform is offering discounts on various categories such as fashion, electronics, home appliances and much more.
How to buy using the Flipkart Group Buy feature
Here’s how you can buy using the group buy feature.
- Open the Flipkart app and tap on the ‘Fashion’ category and then swipe down to see the ‘Flipkart Group Buy Shop Together’ feature
- To avail Group Buy offer, you need to find the products which are available under the mentioned categories.
- Share the link with one or more friends to get the benefit of the offer, but do note that they have to ship within 24 hours. If they fail to purchase anything under the period, then the order will be cancelled and the money will be refunded.
As part of the Flipkart Big Savings Days Sale, the platform is offering 5 percent cashback through an Axis Bank Credit card and then there is the Pay Later feature, which entitles a Rs 250 gift card on select purchases. Additional benefits include complete mobile protection, no-cost EMI and exchange offers on smartphones.
