Flipkart has announced that it will hold its second sale of the Diwali season from October 24th to October 27th. As before, Flipkart Prime members will be able to access the deals three hours ahead of the official start time, meaning 9pm on October 23rd. The sale will see new deals every 8 hours, with additional discounts for the first two hours of the sale. Flipkart is also claiming that it will offer “unbeatable discounts” on smartphones, TVs, and laptops in the electronics category. The announcement was made just a day after rival Amazon revealed its second Great Indian Festival sale will commence on October 24th.

The Flipkart sale deals on mobile phones starting October 24th include flat discounts, cashbacks, and no-cost EMIs. The Google Pixel 2 XL 64GB will be available for Rs 40,999, while Oppo F9 with 64GB can be purchased for Rs 18,990. Other smartphone deals previewed ahead of the sale include Vivo V9 at Rs 15,990, Honor 7A at Rs 7,999, and Infinix Smart 2 at Rs 4,999. We can expect more smartphone deals to be revealed ahead of the sale. We already know the new ASUS Zenfone Max (M1) and ASUS Zenfone Lite (L1) will be going on sale for the first time as part of the sale.

Flipkart will be offering up to 70 percent off on TVs and appliances and up to 80 percent discount on other electronics like laptops, headphones, etc. Discounts ranging from 40 percent to 80 percent each will be provided on fashion as well as home and furniture categories.
The Flipkart sale will be the latest salvo in an ongoing war for supremacy in the Indian e-commerce industry between the Walmart-owned brand and Amazon. To keep an edge, Flipkart has partnered with Axis Bank as its exclusive debit and credit card partner, though it is not yet known how much additional discounts card holders will get in the sale. Bajaj Finserv and PhonePe users will also get benefits in the sale.
