GigaByte has announced the latest gamer-focused AORUS brand laptops, the AORUS 17X and AORUS 15X. These are redesigned to accommodate the latest CPUs and GPUs from Intel and NVIDIA. The laptops are powered by the Intel 13th Gen, 24-core CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU. The AORUS 17X and AORUS 15X are designed for an up-to-175W max TGP, allowing gamers to play games at ultra-fast frame rates. The laptops are reinforced with the upgraded WINDFORCE Infinity cooling technology to keep the temperature and cooling efficiency well in check.
GigaByte AORUS 17X and AORUS 15X specifications
The GigaByte AORUS 17X sports a 17.3-inch QHD display with up to 240Hz refresh rate, while the 15X has a 15.6-inch QHD display with up to 240Hz screen. The laptops are powered by the 13th Gen Core HX processor with up to Core i9-13950HX CPU and up to RTX 4090 16GB GDDR6 GPU. The processor is paired with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen4x4 SSD storage.
There’s sleek CNC aluminium alloy chassis combined with the spaceship-inspired design and RGB Light Bar. There’s Thunderbolt 4 with up to 100W Power Delivery. Both laptops run on Windows 11 out of the box. There are multiple configurations that are pre-tuned by AI to optimise performance. There’s a new Light Bar and the per-key keyboard backlights are customisable according to personal characteristics. The AORUS 17X has a large vapour chamber to maximize heat transfer.
