Gigabyte X870 and B850 Aorus Stealth Ice series motherboards have launched in India. These motherboards support cleaner, cableless builds and offer features like PCIe Gen5 support, Wi-Fi 7, 5G LAN, tool-free installation, and advanced cooling with redesigned heatsinks. Let us take a closer look at their features below:

Gigabyte X870 and B850 motherboards: features

  • Reverse-connector compatibility: Gigabyte’s project stealth motherboards are ideal for cableless PC builds and support the company’s own C500P stealth series chassis.
  • Gigabyte has also partnered with over 10 case manufacturers, including brands like Corsair, Cooler Master, Fractal Design, and Phanteks, to ensure compatibility across more than 25 reverse-connector-ready cases.
  • Latest processor support: The X870 Aorus Stealth Ice motherboard is compatible with AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors. It features an 18+2+2 phase VRM design using 80A smart power stages, allowing it to handle high-end CPUs such as the Ryzen 9 9950X3D.
  • X3D Turbo Mode: Gigabyte’s X3D turbo mode adjusts core behaviour and power settings for AMD Ryzen X3D CPUs and claims up to 18 percent better gaming performance with a single click.
  • DDR5 memory tuning: The D5 bionic corsa uses AI to push DDR5 memory speeds up to 8200MT/s. The tuning process is automated, eliminating the need for manual configuration.
  • White design: Both the X870 and X850 Aorus Stealth Ice are available in an all-white variant, aimed at users who prefer a clean and minimal PC setup without compromising on core features.
  • SSD compatibility and cooling: The new M.2 EZ-Flex feature supports both single- and double-sided SSDs, which claims to reduce temperatures by up to 12 degrees Celsius. It is located on the lower-left M.2 slot and is designed to offer better heat dissipation and compatibility.
  • Tool-free build features: The motherboards include several convenience-focused tools such as PCIe EZ-Latch Plus, M.2 EZ-Latch Click, M.2 EZ-Latch Plus, Wi-Fi EZ-Plug, and an EZ-Debug Zone to help simplify installation and maintenance.
  • Built-in wireless drivers: DriverBIOS includes built-in support for wireless drivers, allowing users to connect to Wi-Fi without needing separate installation. It also features a 64MB BIOS capacity for future updates and added functionality.
  • PCIe Gen5 support and wireless connectivity: The X870 and B850 boards come with PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and M.2 support for next-gen graphics cards and SSDs. They also include 5G LAN and Wi-Fi 7 with Gigabyte’s high-gain directional antenna for enhanced signal stability.
  • Cooling system: The thermal solution uses large heatsinks with increased surface area to help maintain performance under load.
