Gionee is all set to make its comeback in India after being silent for quite a long time. Recently the company confirmed it will launch Gionee Max, a budget segment smartphone, in India on August 25th. The launch poster had been teased on e-commerce website Flipkart, confirming some of the specifications of the phone. The teaser also reveals that the Gionee Max will feature a 6.1-inch HD+ dewdrop display with 2.5D curved glass design. Now, the page has also revealed the battery capacity of the Gionee Max, as well as the kind of performance we can expect from the story.
The Flipkart listing page confirms that the Gionee Max is fuelled by a massive 5,000mAh battery. The listing also claims that the entry-level smartphone is capable of delivering a standby battery life of 28 days, 24 hours of music playback, 42 hours of calling, 9 hours of movies/ video content watching, and 12hours of gaming. The teaser page also suggests that if the level of audio and brightness is at maximum values, then the smartphone will last for 7 hours only.
