Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G were officially unveiled during the ‘Launch Night In’ event. Unlike the Pixel 4 flagship lineup last year, the Pixel 5 is a mid-range phone that comes with 5G support. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 4a 5G is the 5G variant of the Pixel 4a that launched back in August. Google says the cameras on the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G are equipped with features like Cinematic Pan, Night Sight in portrait mode, and a new editor in the Photos app. Key specifications also include Snapdragon 765G, OLED HDR display, and Android 11 out of the box. Google already confirmed the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G won’t be launching in India.

Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G prices and availability
The Google Pixel 5 price is set at $699 (approx Rs 51,500) and it will be available Just Black and Sorta Sage colours. The Google Pixel 4a 5G price is $499 (Rs 36,700) and comes in Just Black and Clearly White colours. Both the phones will be on sale from October 15th.

The Google Pixel 5 sports a 6-inch FHD+ OLED HDR display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resolution, punch-hole cutout, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 layer. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that isn’t expandable. The phone runs on Android 11 out of the box. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and stereo speakers.
As for the optics, Pixel 5 has a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, OIS, and a 16MP ultra-wide lens with 107-degree field of view. There is an 8MP wide-angle snapper with an 84-degree field of view on the front. The phone packs a 4,080mAh battery with 18W fast-charging, Qi wireless charging, and reverse charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. The phone measures 144.7 x 70.4 x 8.0mm and weighs 151 grams.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.
