The Google Pixel 7 series launch, which is set for October 6th globally, will be followed by the handsets’ pre-booking in several countries, including India. Google India via its Twitter account has announced that the handsets will be available for pre-orders in the country on October 6th itself starting at 09:30 pm IST. Interested buyers can pre-book the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro via the partnered e-commerce platform Flipkart, the company confirmed in the follow-up tweet. For the uninitiated, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be the first Google flagships to launch in India since Pixel 3 back in 2018.

The Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro India launch date is yet to be announced, but the company will take the wraps off the handsets on October 6th globally. Google has been teasing the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro ahead of the launch, and we already know what the smartphones will look like. The company has announced that the Google Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro will come with the second-generation Google Tensor chip, the Tensor G2. Apart from that, rumours and leaks have given us a fair idea as to what to expect from the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Apart from the Pixel smartphones, the company will also launch its first smartwatch, the Google Pixel Watch. However, we don’t know yet if the Pixel Watch will make it to the Indian market.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro will come with Android 13 out of the box, and the smartphone will come with a Titan security chip.

The Pixel 7 Pro will come with a triple rear camera setup that is said to include a 50-megapixel primary shooter, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. The smartphone is said to come with an 11-megapixel front shooter. There is said to be a 5,000mAh battery on the Google Pixel 7 Pro with support for 30W fast charging.
