91mobiles has exclusively spotted the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold foldable on the Camera FV-5 certification ahead of its launch next week. This comes just hours after the phone was spotted in the wild showcasing its redesigned camera module. The Camera FV-5 listing reveals the camera hardware of the phone, including the primary and front cameras.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have a 12MP primary camera on the back. This should be pixel-binned to 48MP. This is the same as the predecessor: a 48MP sensor. The sensor will have f/1.7 aperture, OIS+EIS, 55.8-degree vertical FoV, and a 25.5mm focal length. The maximum picture resolution will be 4000X3000. The ISO range is 43-17066.

On the front, the foldable has a 10MP and there will be EIS support on board. It has a 22.3mm focal length, f/2.2 aperture, 77.8-degree FoV, and a maximum picture resolution of 3840 X 2600. However, details regarding the other sensors are not revealed at the moment but leaks have spilled the beans.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is rumoured to be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset, which is a jump from the Tensor G2 SoC. The chipset could be paired with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The Pixel foldable is believed to run on Android 14 OS at launch and not the latest Android 15 skin.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to sport a 6.3-inch cover screen and an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display. For context, the Pixel Fold had a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED screen and a 7.6-inch OLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The handset is said to have a 48MP main camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide snapper and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor. The predecessor has a 48MP primary camera, a 10.8MP Ultra-wide camera and a 10.8MP telephoto camera. Thanks to the Camera FV-5 listing, we now know the phone will have a 10MP front camera.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold price could start at $1,799 (around Rs 1,50,800) for the 256GB model and $1,919 (approx Rs 1,60,900) for the 512GB version, respectively.
