Google has announced the annual listing of most popular apps, games, movies and books in India on Google Play Store for the year 2019. The Cupertino giant says the year was filled with non-stop entertainment. Call of Duty: Mobile has been voted as the best game of 2019, while Ablo: Talk to new people & explore the world is the best app of the year. Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame is the most downloaded movie of the year, followed by Andhadhun. The Magic of Thinking Big and The Sky is the Limit are the top-selling E-book and audiobook of the year, respectively.

Furthermore, Google also announced ‘User Choice Winners of 2019’ across categories like apps, books, games, and movies. Spotify is the most-loved app of the year and Call of Duty: Mobile won the fan favourite game. Best Everyday Essentials of 2019 are Boosted – Productivity & Time Tracker, OkCredit – Udhar Bahi Khata, Spotify: Listen to new music, podcasts, and songs and Vedantu: Learning App for Class6-10, IITJEE & NEET. Best Hidden Gems of 2019 are Appy Weather: the most personal weather app, Fitvate – Gym Workout Trainer Fitness Coach Plans, MashApp – Video Punchlines, Morphin – CGI GIF Maker & Editor, and Swoot – Podcasts with friends. Indian-based chatting app Hike Sticker Chat has also been awarded as the one of the ‘Best Everyday Essential Apps’ of 2019.
