GTA: San Andreas finally ported to iOS, headed to Android and Windows soon

GTA San Andreas You’ve played it on your PS2, Xbox and PC, and now it’s here for your phone. Nine years after it was first released, Rockstar’s blockbuster GTA: San Andreas has made its mobile debut on iOS. Rockstar has also indicated that the game will be available for Android and Windows Phone devices soon, but haven’t specified a date yet. The mobile game covers three major cities in San Andreas – Los Santos, San Fiero and Las Venturas. At a hefty 1.63GB download, it’s going to take up precious gigabytes, but the 70+ hours of gameplay should make up for that. GTA: San Andreas is compatible with all Made-for iOS controllers, like Logitech’s PowerShell. But if you don’t own one of these fancy accessories, the game offers customisable controls and dual-analog sticks. Users will also be able to save their progress to the cloud, provided they have a Rockstar Social Club membership. The ability to create and listen to custom playlists has also been retained. The mobile version of GTA: San Andreas has been remastered with high-resolution graphics, lighting enhancements, improved character models and a richer colour palette. The game is compatible with iOS 4.3 and above and is supported on the iPhone 4S and above, iPad 2 and above, iPod Touch 5th-gen and both iPad Minis. iPhone 5 and iPad 4th-gen and above users will get a more enhanced version of the game with detailed shadows and real-time environmental reflections. You can download GTA: San Andreas on the App Store now for Rs 390.
