A new Google Pixel flagship launch soon
According to a report by 9to5Google, the search engine giant is working on another high-end Google Pixel device, which will come equipped with a flagship-grade display. The report, however, does not tell us the specifics of the display (or the remaining specifications for that matter), but it does tell us about the codenames of the device.
The source has found out the codenames of two upcoming Google Pixel devices, namely “Felix” and “Lynx”. While the Felix device could likely be the Google Pixel 7a, the identity of the Lynx device is yet to be confirmed, and the same is being speculated to be the upcoming Google Pixel flagship. Could it be the Google Pixel 7 Ultra/Pro? Time would tell.
The publication further notes that the display details of the said flagship were spotted in the AOSP code, tagged “G10”. The G10 device will likely be powered by the brand’s second-generation Tensor SoC and the reason as to why it is being believed to feature a flagship device and not a Pixel A-series device is because of the 120Hz refresh rate support the processor has.
