The Honor 10 Lite (review) has been launched in the burgeoning affordable segment of the Indian smartphone market. The Honor 10 Lite sports a 6.21-inch display with waterdrop notch, Kirin 710 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, a high-resolution selfie camera, and Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.0.1 custom skin on top. The smartphone was launched as the Honor 10 Youth in China in November before being brought to the Indian market with the ‘Lite’ moniker.

The Honor 10 Lite price in India for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is Rs 13,999. Its 6GB RAM +64GB storage option costs Rs 17,999. The smartphone will go on sale midnight on January 20th and will be available exclusively via Flipkart and HiHonor.com. It comes in Sky Blue, Sapphire Blue, and Midnight Black colour options. Launch offers with the handset include Rs 2,200 cashback from Jio in the form of Rs 50 vouchers as well as vouchers worth Rs 2,800 from Cleartrip.
Honor 10 Lite specifications
Coming to the Honor 10 Lite specifications, the smartphone sports a 6.21-inch full-HD+ display with a tiny waterdrop notch up top that houses selfie camera. The phone has an almost bezel-less design and an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.25 percent. Driving the handset is Huawei’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset, accompanied by 4GB/ 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The in-built storage can be further expandable via a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the 10 Lite flaunts a dual setup on the rear with a 13-megapixel (f/1.8 aperture) primary shooter combined with a 2-megapixel (f/2.4 aperture) secondary depth-sensing shooter and an LED flash. For selfies, it boasts of an impressive 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.8-micron pixel size, and 4-in-1 Light Fusion technology. The cameras are further backed by Honor’s AI wizardry to further enhance the results as well as HiVISION technology to scan objects using the camera to find information such as prices of goods and calorie count of food items.
On the software front, the handset boots the latest Android 9 Pie garnished with EMUI 9 custom skin out of the box. It comes with wireless projecting on smartphones as well as wireless printing for compatible printers. A 3,400mAh battery keeps the Honor 10 Lite up and running. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and connectivity options like 4G LTE, Dual SIM slots, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/ GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port.
