Ahead of the May 21st Honor 20 event in London, Huawei’s sub-brand has officially announced the mid-range Honor 20 Lite smartphone in Malaysia and the UK. It is the successor to the Honor 10 Lite, which was introduced back in November 2018. The handset rocks a triple rear camera setup, powered by the in-house Kirin 710 SoC and runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
Honor 20 Lite price
Honor 20 Lite is priced at MYR 949 (around Rs 15,900) in Malaysia and GBP 249 (roughly Rs. 22,500) in the UK. While it is already on sale in Malaysia, the phone will be available in the UK starting May 15th through local carriers and is also expected to go official in other parts of Europe soon. The handset comes in Phantom Red, Phantom Blue, and Midnight Blue colours.
Honor 20 Lite specifications
The Honor 20 Lite sports a 6.21-inches full HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and waterdrop style notch. The phone is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage, that is further expandable up to 512GB. The handset boots Android 9.0 with EMUI 9.0 skin on top.
In terms of cameras, the Honor 20 Lite features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 24MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a third 2MP depth unit with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, the phone packs a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for biometric security. Connectivity features include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The phone measures 154.8×73.64×7.95mm and it weighs 164 grams. A 3,400mAh battery fuels the phone.
