“Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) mid-range smartphone is expected to come with 48MP primary rear camera, 6.3-inch display and 4,000mAh battery”
Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) smartphone officially teased in China, suggesting its imminent launch. Honor’s president Zhao Ming also hinted that the smartphone will be affordable and is specially designed for female users. Honor 20 Lite is the successor to the Honor 10 Lite that was launched in November 2018. Unfortunately, the executive hasn’t revealed any hardware specifications about the handset yet. However, the TENAA telecom authority revealed that the Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) could have model number LRA-AL00. The listing suggests it would measure 157.2 x 73.2 x 7.65mm and weigh 172.5 grams.
The Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) is expected to sport a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie snapper. It could be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that should be further expandable. Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI custom skin on top. It will have a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP secondary shooter and a 2-megapixel depth unit.
For capturing selfies, the Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) is said to have a 16-megapixel snapper. A 4,000mAh battery (3,900 minimum capacity) could fuel the smartphone. China’s 3C certification revealed that it would have 20W fast charging support. It is said to come in black and green colour options, but there could be other colours as well. For now, there’s no exact launch date, but since the Honor president has started teasing the phone, the launch could be right around the block. The company is expected to schedule an event for later this month where the Honor V30 is said to go official, so there’s a possibility the Honor 20 Lite (Youth Edition) might make an appearance on the same stage.
