Honor 20S smartphone is confirmed to launch in China on September 4th in China. The latest handset in the Honor 20-series is said to be powered by a 2.6GHz octa-core SoC, paired with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display, and pack triple rear cameras with 48MP primary sensor. Now, ahead of the launch, Honor teased the camera module on the Honor 20S would offer several features and optimisations to enhance the performance. The company has released videos shot on the Honor 20S and said that it would offer ten different beauty modes for video captures and have EIS support for stability. The ultra-wide-angle lens can record videos also apart from clicking pictures.
In terms of design, the teaser posters and renders shared with us revealed that the Honor 20S would feature a punch-hole design, that is said to accommodate a 32MP snapper for selfies. The handset is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1 skin on top and pack a 3,650mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. It is expected to come with a gradient back panel in Blue and White colour palette. The Honor 20S is also expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The Honor 20S is said to measure 154.25×73.97×7.87mm and weighs 172 grams. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C. Since the launch is just tomorrow, we don’t have to wait much longer to know more details.
