Honor 30s launch date is March 30th and the Huawei sub-brand will likely announce the smartphone through an online event. It will be the first phone to come with the new 7nm Kirin 820 5G mid-range chipset that has Cortex-A76 cores and Mali-G77 GPU, which is claimed to be 120-140 percent faster per mm2 compared to the G76. However, the teaser poster doesn’t reveal much about the phone’s design. Thankfully, a recent render leak showed off the Honor 30s rear design in white gradient colour. The Honor 30s is also expected to come with 40W fast charging support.

The Honor 30s is tipped to rock a quad-camera setup in a rectangular module at the back and will arrive in white and orange colours. While the battery capacity is a mystery, it is said to have support for 40W fast-charging tech much like the Honor View 30 Pro. The phone is expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and likely to boot Android 10 OS with a custom skin and Huawei Mobile Services. 

Honor View 30 Pro 5G specifications

Honor View 30 Pro 5G smartphone was recently unveiled globally. It sports a 6.57-inch full-HD+ display with IPS LCD panel, 2,400 × 1,080 pixels resolution and 91.46 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the Kirin 990 SoC with Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity, 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB internal storage. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. 4,100mAh battery with 40W fast charging, 27W wireless charging, 7.5W wireless reverse charging support fuels the handset.

In terms of optics, the Honor View 30 Pro 5G features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 40MP RYYB primary Sony IMX600 sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom and 30x digital zoom, and a 12MP wide-angle lens with 5-axis EIS Cine lens for video. The Honor View 30 Pro 5G packs dual-selfie snappers with a 32MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
