“Honor 9X and 9X Pro mid-range phones are expected to come with 6.59-inch display, pop-up selfie snapper, and a 4,000mAh battery”
Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro mid-range smartphones have been in the news for quite some time, thanks to consistent leaks. The handsets are expected to go official at an event in China on July 23rd. Now, ahead of the launch, complete specifications of the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro have leaked online, courtesy of the TENAA certification. These come with model numbers HLK-TL00 and HLK-AL00, and HLK-AL10, respectively. The Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro are said to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, run Android 9.0 with EMUI custom skin on top, and feature a pop-up selfie snapper.
Furthermore, TENAA listing suggests the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro sport a 6.59-inch full-HD+ display with 1,080 X 2,340 pixels screen resolution. These handsets are expected to be powered by a 7nm octa-core Kirin 810 SoC with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The smartphones will likely come in three variants — 4GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM + 256GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The handsets run Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 10 on top.
In terms of optics, the Honor 9X Pro features a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While the standard Honor 9X rocks a 24-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, on the front, there is a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chat, but recent specifications leak claims the smartphone would have a 20MP sensor. Both the phones come with a pop-up mechanism to accommodate the front camera and pack 4,000mAh batteries with support for fast charging support. With the launch right around the corner, we should know more details soon.
