Honor 9X is scheduled to launch in India sometime this month alongside the Honor Magic Watch 2. The handset will arrive with triple rear cameras, Kirin 710 SoC and a 4,000mAh battery. Now, amidst the anticipation, the Honor 9X is officially listed on Flipkart, confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform ahead of its imminent launch. While the listing doesn’t explicitly mention the name, it runs down the previous generation Honor X-series phones and their launch timelines leading up to 2020. It also confirms the Honor 9X pop-up design to accommodate the selfie camera. Honor hasn’t revealed the Honor 9X launch date just yet, but since it started teasing, we might learn more soon.

Honor 9X flaunt a 6.59-inch full HD+ display with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1 custom skin on top. It also has support for GPU Turbo 2.0 and liquid cooling technologies for optimised performance while gaming.
In terms of optics, the Honor 9X features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP sensor with LED flash. For selfies and video chats, it has a 16MP shooter. There is a traditional fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. The handset houses a 4,000mAh battery with fast-charging support.
