No Google Play Store on Honor 9X Pro

Talking about the software, the Honor 9X Pro, unfortunately, runs on Android 9.1 with EMUI 9 on top. The company says the phone will get updated to Android 10 AOSP in the future. Additionally, the phone does not come with Google Mobile Services, so you won’t find Google apps and services on board. Instead, you will get the Huawei AppGallery where you will find thousands of apps. Huawei has also partnered with developers in India to offer apps like Aarogya Setu, Paytm, Jio, Airtel, Voot, and so on. Unfortunately, core apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Netflix, and Prime Video are not available on the AppGallery yet. The company says that the app store will redirect you to the browser sites for some of these apps while others can be downloaded from their official websites.
