“The Honor Band 4 is water-resistant and comes with real-time heart monitor and sleep tracking”
Apart from launching the Honor 8 and 8X smartphones at its event today in China, the Huawei sub-brand Honor also took the wraps off the Honor Band 4. It comes in two variants: one is the normal Honor Band 4, and the other is a running version of the same band. The latest band from the Chinese OEM now comes with “improved features” and more colour variants, compared to the last year‘s Honor Band 3.
The Honor Band 4 flaunts a full-touch colour AMOLED display, 0.95-inches in size and protected by 2.5D glass. It’s water-resistant up to 50 meters and comes with swim stroke and pool swimming recognition. The wearable is further loaded with fitness tracking features like the pedometer, sleep tracking and health-rate monitor. It also includes seven sports modes to keep you fit and 6-axis sensor for swimming mode. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, NFC support, and comprehensive reminders so that you don’t have to look to your smartphone whenever there are notifications.
The Band 4 running version, on the other hand, monitors the user’s movement status and has two wearing modes: one is on the shoe and the other, on the wrist. Honor claims that the wearable comes with professional motion algorithm and six-axis sensor that can record the way the foot is on the ground.
The Honor Band 4 has been priced at RMB 199 (~ Rs 2,039), and it comes in three colour options of black, blue, and pink. Its running version cost slightly cheaper, RMB 99 (~ Rs 1,039), and has different color schemes.
