Interested buyers can pick the device from two colour options: Lava Red and Green.

Honor Band 4 Running Edition specifications

To recap, the Honor Band 4 Running Edition differs slightly from its sibling — the standard Honor Band 4. The latter is available in solid colour options, while the Running Edition wristband comes in five dual-colour finishes. In terms of specifications, it features a 0.5-inch OLED display, which is almost half of the 0.95-inch AMOLED display that the Band 4 uses.

As the name suggests, the Band 4 Running Edition targets the runners and includes a six-axis sensor, along with a ‘foot mode’ that allows you to attach the device on your shoe. The fitness wearable is backed by a “professional running posture monitoring” algorithm that is said to fix your running posture to ease muscular tension on your feet. The sensor measures elements such as foot strike and landing pattern, ground contact time, step length, swing angle, and others.

The band is very light in weight – ticking the scales at 17 grams with body and TPU band combined. In wrist mode, the band includes standard features such as vibration-based notifications for calls and messages, time and date display, step-activity-calorie reminders, and more. The Band 4 Running Edition is also water resistant up to 50 metres and houses a 77mAh battery that is rated to last up to 21 days. Lastly, users can pair the device with their smartphones to access its features through a compatible app.
