Honor Band 5 that was initially announced in China back in July and is set to launch in India soon. Now, ahead of the launch, the brand has partnered with Flipkart for the Honor Band 5. This means the Honor Band 5 fitness tracker will be exclusively available on the e-commerce platform when launched. The band is capable of tracking ten different fitness activities such as running, cycling, swimming, free training, and more. The Honor Band 5 is water-resistant up to 50 meters. It sports a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 240 X 120 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass.
The sensors onboard include a 6-axis inertial sensor, a TruSeen 3.0 heart rate monitor, and infrared light wearing detection sensor. It is compatible with Android as well as iOS and connects via Bluetooth. It is claimed to last up to 14 days on normal usage. Honor Band 5 has support for different watch faces, intelligent sleep data, and swim stroke recognition that detects freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke, and backstroke while swimming. The blood oxygen levels feature can detect fatigue, dizziness, and poor sleep.
The OLED display can show 45 characters with colour-coded text and call icons for instantly identifiable communication. It can accurately detect six common sleeping problems, with 200 personalised sleep quality assessments and suggestions for sound and healthy sleep. Other features include messages reminder, phone finder, and remote picture taking. Since the Honor Band 5 is listed on Flipkart officially, the launch might be right around the corner.
