Honor Band 5 the latest fitness band from Huawei sub-brand has been launched in India. The wearable was originally introduced last month in China as a successor to the Honor Band 4. It’s aimed at delivering more advanced health tracking features and ensuring a healthy lifestyle. The Honor Band 5 comes bundled with seven “innovative” technologies such as colour AMOLED display, stylish watch faces, intelligent sleep data, real-time heart rate monitor, water-resistant up to 50 meters, swim stroke recognition, and ten distinct fitness modes.
The Honor Band 5 has been priced in India at Rs 2,599, which is the same as its predecessor. The wearable comes in three colour variants: Midnight Navy, Coral Pink, and Meteorite Black, and will be available for sale from August 8th only on Flipkart.
Talking about the specifications, the new Honor Band 5 boasts a 0.95-inch touchscreen colour display with 240 x 120p resolution and 282 ppi pixel density. The wearable is said to last up to 14 days on a single charge with 100mAh built-in battery. Fitness tracking features include a real-time heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and sports modes such as running, cycling, and swimming. The Honor Band 5 also has a 5ATM rating that means you can take it for swimming and submerge it into the water for up to 50 meters.
Apart from this, the wearable features a six-axis inertial sensor and a blood oxygen level tracker, which can help monitor fatigue, dizziness, and poor sleep and connect with both Android and iOS devices using the Huawei Health app.
