The Honor Note 10 has been the topic of discussion in the rumour mill for quite some time now. Ever since the Huawei sub-brand released its teaser, the device has been part of leaks frequently. Today, the company confirmed July 31st as the date of Honor Note 10’s launch, through its Chinese social networking site Weibo.


The post reads, “prepare for an AI flagship with a big screen that will arrive in just 10 days.” The event will be exclusive to the Chinese market, followed by a global announcement of Note 10 in Berlin on August 30th.

Several leaks and rumours have already hinted at the phone’s specifications and features. To recall, the Note 10 will sport a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display that will be curved from the sides as seen on the renders. At its core, the smartphone is speculated to employ a Kirin 970 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Powering the Note 10 will be a 6,000mAh battery with USB Type-C fast charging support.


On the imaging front, the Honor Note 10 is expected to boast of dual-camera setup with a primary camera of 24MP and a secondary camera 16MP with LED flash. The front camera will be a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The handset is expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box with custom EMUI skin employed on top. Moreover, it will have a glass sandwich design, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC support, and Honor’s GPU Turbo technology.

The Honor Note 10 will be the company’s first smartphone in its Note series since the Honor Note 8, which was launched in 2016. We will be keeping an eye on the device launch event in China, so stay tuned to receive updates its official price and specifications.
