“Honor V30 Pro is expected to come with a 60MP primary sensor, a 20MP super wide-angle shooter, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a ToF sensor”
Honor V30 smartphone is on the verge of launching, expected to go official sometime this month in China. The recent render leak revealed a Mate 20-like camera setup and gradient design. Now, while we wait for the launch date to be revealed, we have our very first look at the Honor V30 Pro front panel, courtesy of Weibo. This confirms the handset will have a punch-hole design, where the Pro model would house dual-selfie cameras placed on the left. The Honor V30 Pro live-image shows the Settings menu but doesn’t reveal any hardware specifications.
Earlier rumours suggested that the Honor V30 will come with a 60MP primary sensor, a 16MP super wide-angle shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a ToF sensor completing the quad-camera setup. The Pro model retains the same 60MP primary sensor but includes an 8MP telephoto lens instead of a macro lens and a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens. This too, will have a ToF sensor. The standard Honor V30 will have a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging, while the V30 Pro will have a large 4,200mAh unit with a massive 40W fast-charging and 15W wireless charging. Both the phones should be powered by the Kirin 990 SoC, but the top-end model should ship with Kirin 990 5G SoC.
Moreover, reports suggest Honor V30 price will be around RMB 3,000 (roughly Rs 30,200) and are expected to launch later this month. They both are expected to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Unfortunately, Honor hasn’t revealed an exact launch date yet, but we’re hoping to come across more information in the days to come.
