“Honor is all set to release the View 20 flagship in India soon after its global launch on January 22nd”
Recently, at its Artology event in China, Honor officially announced its upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed the View 20. At the event, the company already revealed a handful of details regarding the handset’s design, rear camera configuration, SoC, and more. The brand will be revealing the complete Honor View 20 specifications at an event in its Beijing on December 26th. Soon after, the phone maker will be globally launching the flagship in Paris on January 22nd. Now, 91mobiles has learnt some exclusive details regarding Honor View 20 India launch time frame as well as its selfie camera.
According to industry sources close to Honor’s plans, the Honor View 20 will be launched in India in January itself, soon after the phone debuts globally in Paris. Sadly, we don’t have the exact launch date for the handset’s India launch at the moment. Furthermore, our sources have suggested that the next-gen Honor View series flagship will house a 24-megapixel sensor in its in-screen selfie camera hole that’s just under 4.5mm in diameter.
Honor has already revealed that the View 20 flaunts its latest Full-View Display 3.0 with almost non-existent bezels. The brand says that by embedding the selfie camera under the screen, it has extended the display area of the device to almost 100 percent. The selfie camera design has been achieved using an “extremely complex 18-layer technology stack”, claims the brand. Perhaps, the biggest highlight of the View 20 is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 camera, which is built on a massive 1/2-inch sensor, and offers the Quad Bayer colour. In theory, this should allow the phone to shoot low-noise 12MP photos in low-light.

Furthermore, the brand has announced that the Honor View 20 is powered by its in-house 7nm Kirin 980 flagship SoC. Another interesting feature of the phone is the ability to combine Wi-Fi and cellular connections, which allows the user to use both networks simultaneously for a faster downlink speed. Honor has dubbed this technology Link Turbo and it is already available on the recently launched Honor Magic 2.
We should have the complete specifications of the Honor View 10 on December 26th. We will keep you posted with all the details, so stay tuned to 91mobiles for regular updates.
