Honor recently unveiled its flagship View 20 (first impression) smartphone at an event in Paris. Notably, the smartphone, which is scheduled to launch in India on January 29th, is the global variant of the Honor V20. As such, all the specifications and details of the handset are already out in the open. However, one key detail has eluded us so far, which is the Indian pricing. While the brand has kept the pricing under wraps so far, according to a new leak the Honor View 20 will be going up against the OnePlus 6T (review) in India.
Honor View 20 price in India and availability
Honor has already announced that the smartphone will be launched in India on January 29th as an Amazon exclusive. The company has already commenced the pre-booking of the device on the Amazon India website. Now, the new leak suggests that only the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will be launched in India. According to the report, the smartphone will retail for Rs 35,999 in India and will be offered in two hues – Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue.
Honor View 20 specifications
The Honor View 20 ships with a 6.4-inch punch-hole display with full HD+ resolution and an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 91.82 percent. There is a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset ticking at its core, which comes accompanied by dual Neural Processing Units (NPU), GPU Turbo technology 2.0 and liquid cooling tech. In the camera department, the smartphone offers a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 primary shooter accompanied by a 3D ToF lens on the rear and 25-megapixel snapper in the display piercing. The phone boots Android 9 Pie-based Magic UI 2.0 out of the box and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
