How to hide apps in Vivo smartphones
Step 1: Go ahead and open the Settings app and select ‘Security‘.
Step 2: Then tap on ‘Privacy & app encryption‘.
Step 3: On the next screen select ‘App hiding‘.
Step 4: If you’re entering this screen for the first time, it’ll ask you to set up a password and a security question.
Step 5: Go ahead and enter a 6-digit PIN twice which will be used for unlocking hidden apps. You can back up the password to your Vivo account as a safety measure. The password type can also be changed to a 4-digit PIN.
Step 6: Once it’s set up, go ahead and enable the toggles beside the apps you wish to hide on your Vivo phone. Hit ‘Confirm‘. You can also enable ‘View hidden apps‘ toggle
Step 7: The app will be hidden. To access hidden apps from the home screen, simply swipe up with two fingers.
Step 8: Now enter the PIN and the hidden apps will be revealed in a folder.

How to unhide apps in Vivo smartphones
Step 1: Firstly, go to the Settings app and select the ‘Security‘ menu
Step 2: Now tap on ‘Privacy & app encryption‘.
Step 3: On the next screen select ‘App hiding‘.
Step 4: Enter the PIN which you had set earlier to unlock the next page.
Step 5: Now uncheck the apps you wish to unhide.
Step 6: The apps will be unhidden and you’ll be able to access them from the home screen or app drawer.
