HP is expanding its Chromebook lineup in India with the launch of the Chromebook 14 series. Earlier this month, the company launched the Chromebook x360 in India at a starting price of Rs 44,990. Now, the new HP Chromebook 14 will also be available for purchase in India. The Chromebook 14 features an HD display with touch support and is powered by the Intel Apollo Lake dual-core chipsets. It also features a 180-degree hinge, but isn’t as flexible as the Chromebook x360.

The HP Chromebook 14 price in India starts at Rs 23,990. The laptop will be available in two colour options – Snow White and Chalkboard Grey. Customers can purchase the laptop from one of the 250 HP World Stores, the HP Online Store, or from Amazon India and Flipkart. Those who buy the Chromebook 14 will receive a free one-year subscription to Google One. This includes 100GB of storage and other benefits. HP has also tied up with Jio to provide free 1 year subscription to Jio Digital apps as well as 2GB of 4G data every day with a JioFi device. Users will also receive the Meritnation education package worth Rs 35,000.

HP Chromebook 14 features

The Chromebook 14 from HP comes equipped with a 14-inch HD display with touch support. As mentioned earlier, it is powered by the Intel Apollo Lake dual-core processors and comes with a 180-degree hinge. The laptop comes with up to 2GB RAM as well as 64GB of SSD storage and includes features such as Verified Boot. HP claims that the laptop has a boot time of less than 10 seconds.
