HP EliteBook, ProBook, OmniBook AI PCs launched in India: price, specifications

HP has launched its latest range of AI-powered PCs in India, including the HP EliteBooks, HP ProBooks, and HP OmniBook models. The new line-up features the HP EliteBook 8 G1i, 8 G1a, 6 G1a, and 6 G1q; the HP ProBook 4 G1q; and the HP OmniBook Ultra, X Flip, 7 Aero, and OmniBook 5. These devices feature the latest Intel Core Ultra 200V series, AMD Ryzen AI 300 series, and Qualcomm Snapdragon X, X Elite, and X Plus processors.

The HP EliteBooks and ProBooks are tailored for enterprise use, while the OmniBook AI PCs are designed for consumers such as freelancers, content creators, and everyday users. All laptops in the line-up come equipped with dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) capable of delivering 40 to 55 trillion operations per second (TOPS).

HP EliteBooks, HP ProBooks, and HP OmniBook pricing in India, availability

• The HP ProBook 4 G1q is the most affordable model in the latest AI PC lineup, starting at Rs 77,200.
• The HP EliteBook 8 G1a and HP EliteBook 6 G1a laptops will be available in India at a later date.
• All other models are now open for pre-order via the HP India e-store. HP has not yet announced when these laptops will be available on Flipkart or Amazon.
• The HP OmniBook laptops are also available at HP World stores (retail outlets) across the nation.

HP AI PCs powerful AI software experiences

• HP AI Companion: It is an advanced on-device AI research assistant designed to deliver instant answers and provide secure file analysis. The assistant can work even without an internet connection.
• Poly Camera Pro: It aims to make virtual interactions and video conferencing more dynamic and engaging. The feature supports auto-framing, multi-camera setups, and overlays. It also supports streaming integration, and customisable aesthetics for bringing a professional-grade setup.
• Audio tuning by Poly Audio: This feature further enhances meeting experiences by reducing background noise, improving voice clarity, and automatically adjusting sound levels.

• myHP: It will optimise performance and battery life based on the device’s location. The feature also promotes user wellbeing through screen time and distance tracking. Additionally, it supports smart audio adjustments and allows users to customise their keyboard with a programmable key for an enhanced experience.

HP EliteBooks and ProBooks: specifications

The HP EliteBook 8 G1i, EliteBook 6 G1q, and ProBook 4 G1q are powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 238V, Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite, and Snapdragon X processors. All three laptops feature a 14-inch display with optional touch support. They run Windows 11 Pro, as the laptops are designed for enterprise users. The key features include a 5MP IR camera, up to a 62Wh battery with 65W USB Type-C charging, multiple USB-C ports, and more.

HP OmniBook AI PCs: specifications

The HP OmniBook 7 Aero, HP OmniBook 5, and HP OmniBook Ultra 14-inch are powered by AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 and AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 processors. They come with up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of SSD storage. The OmniBook laptops feature a display with up to 2K resolution and optional touch support. In contrast, the HP OmniBook X Flip 14 packs the Intel Core Ultra 5 processors and a 3K OLED touch display.

All devices boot Windows 11 Home Single Language. It is available with FHD IR, 5MP IR, or 9MP IR webcams, depending on the model. Depending on each model, the laptops come with up to a 68Wh battery with 65W USB Type-C charging support. All of them sport dual stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra, a full-size backlit keyboard and an HP Imagepad.
