HP ENVY x360 convertible with AMD Ryzen processors launched in India, price starts at Rs 60,990

HP has expanded its range of convertibles in India by launching the ENVY x360. The brand’s latest Windows-powered hybrid notebook is being targeted at millennials looking for a performance-centric device in a slim and light-weight package. The brand’s latest ENVY series convertible is based on AMD’s Ryzen chips, and comes with support for HP Active Pen stylus to deliver an immersive productivity experience.

Talking about the features, the HP ENVY x360 convertible sports a 360-degree rotatable hinge, which allows it to be used in multiple modes such as laptop, tablet, stand, and tent. The hybrid features an all-metal premium design that comes in a Dark Ash Silver hue with a unique angular Damascus pattern. The device also sports slim bezels, multi-threaded processing, and an edge-to-edge backlit keyboard for a smooth typing experience.

Moving on to the other specs, the HP ENVY x360 sports a 13.3-inch full HD IPS WLED-backlit multi-touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The convertible is powered by the AMD Ryzen R5 processor, aided by AMD’s Radeon Vega graphics. The convertible is being claimed to deliver up to 12.5 hours of regular usage. The battery on board is said to charge from zero percent to 50 percent in 45 minutes with HP Fast Charge technology and deliver 12-hour of life on a single charge.

Furthermore, the HP ENVY x360 sports up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of PCIe M.2 SSD. In terms of connectivity, you get dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Miracast, 2nd-gen USB Type-C, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.1 ports, and a microSD card reader. The notebook sports Bang & Olufsen and HP Audio Boost-powered quad speakers. There’s also an HP Wide Vision HD IR camera on board with integrated dual array digital microphone.

Talking about the pricing, the HP ENVY x360 will be available at the starting price of Rs 60,990. The convertible is up for pre-order and will go on sale from November. The brand has also introduced the new HP 15 Notebook with AMD Ryzen processor at a starting price of Rs 36,990, and HP Pavilion 15 laptop starting at Rs 62,990.
