HP OMEN MAX 16 with Intel Core Ultra 9, 32GB RAM, 1TB storage launched in India: price, specifications

HP has launched the HP OMEN MAX 16 gaming laptop in India. The laptop was initially announced at CES 2025. The brand has also confirmed that the OMEN AI beta is now available worldwide. It brings an AI-driven solution for optimising gaming performance, which will automatically fine-tune their system for the best frame rates and smoothest gameplay.

HP OMEN MAX 16 price in India, availability

The HP OMEN MAX 16 is available in India for Rs 3,09,999. It packs 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.
The gaming laptop is available in a lone Shadow Black shade.
It can be pre-ordered starting today through HP India e-store and Amazon India. The device will go on sale starting April 24th in the country.
HP India is offering an instant bank discount of Rs 10,000 for SBI, ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, BOB, Yes Bank and American Express credit cards.

HP OMEN MAX 16: specifications

Design and build: The HP OMEN MAX 16 is built using a sleek metal chassis which weighs 2.68Kg.
Display: The laptop sports a 16-inch IPS panel with WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) resolution and 60-240Hz refresh rate. It has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and supports a 3 3ms response time, 500 nits brightness, and 100% sRGB.
Processor: The OMEN MAX 16 packs the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor with up to 5.4GHz, Intel Turbo Boost tech, 36MP L3 cache, 24 cores and 24 threads.
Graphics: It packs the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 (16GB) to deliver advanced AI performance.
Memory and storage: The device ships with 32GB DDR5-5600 MT/s (2x 16GB) RAM, which can be expanded up to 64GB. It also has a 1TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe performance M.2 SSD.
OS: The OMEN MAX 16 boots Windows 11 Home, which brings a one-year free Microsoft 365 and McAfee 30-day trial version.
Webcam and multimedia: HP integrates the HP True Vision 1080p FHD IR camera with temporal noise reduction and integrated dual-array digital microphones. The device has a camera privacy shutter and supports TPM. It has dual speakers with DTS X Ultra, HP Audio Boost and HyperX.
Connectivity and ports: On the connectivity front, it integrates the Wi-Fi 7 BE200 (2×2) and Bluetooth 5.4. It has two Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C 40Gbps signalling rate, PD, DisplayPort 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge), one USB Type-A (10Gbps signalling rate, HP Sleep and Charge), another USB Type-A (10Gbps signalling rate), one AC smart pin, one HDMI 2.1, audio jack and an RJ-45 port.
Battery and charging: It is backed by a large 83Wh Li-on polymer battery with 330W AC power adaptor support. HP claims that it can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes.
Others: The device has a full-size shadow black keyboard with per key RGB backlit and NKRO anti-ghosting key technology. It also features an IR thermal sensor and HP Imagepad pointing device.
