HTC Announced Rezound with Beats Audio for Verizon

HTC announced the launch of HTC Rezound smartphone with Beats Audio for Verizon Wireless in USA. The device originally known as the Vigor, and is much similar to the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio. The new HTC Rezound features the same Beats headphones which the Sensation XL carries in Europe and Asian markets. The device powered with Verizon 4G LTE Network for ultrafast browsing and connectivity. The device powered with 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Also, the device carries an external memory slot which can accommodate a microSD card. The sales pack contains a 16GB microSD card for free. This smartphone runs on Android OS v2.3 Gingerbread with customized Sense UI v3.5, which is the latest version from HTC. The new HTC Rezound features an 8.0 Megapixels rear-facing camera with Auto-focus which supports video recording at 1080p HD and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calling. This device is the first one in US integrated with Beats Audio experience. HTCRezound_PeterChou Coming to the design elements, HTC Rezound has round corners and everything integrated in single piece. The phone comes with matte back cover, LED flash on the back cover, micro-USB charging hub on the left, 3.5mm headset jack on the top and volume rockers on the side with excellent craftsmanship. The device features connectivity options like Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Wi-Fi hot-spot support for up to 10 devices, and Mobile High Definition Link (MHL) capability for watching content on a compatible HDTV. With the 1620 mAh battery, users can get entertained for a longer number of hours. HTC Rezound comes pre-loaded with integrated Apps like Facebook, Twitter and also entertaining apps like HTC Watch, a movie app. HTC Rezound will be released on November 14th, 2011 for $299.99 with a 2-year contract. Also, the good news for potential buyers is HTC committed to release Android OS update. The device is supposed to get upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
