HTC U11 listed on company’s India website, launch expected soon

“The HTC U11 is the world’s first smartphone to feature Edge Sense technology”

Last month, HTC launched its new U series flagship dubbed the U11 in its home market of Taiwan. Now it appears that the company is all set to launch the phone in India. The device has been listed on the company’s website in the country. There’s no word regarding its price and availability at the moment, but since the phone is listed online, we expect it to be launched in the coming days.

To recap, the HTC U11 (first impressions) is the world’s first smartphone to boast Edge Sense technology, which allows you to control the device by squeezing its sides. The Edge Sense actions can be customised as per the user’s preference. The phone comes with 3D glass on both the front and rear, and gets IP67 certification for dust and water resistance.

As for the other specs, the HTC U11 ships with Android Nougat out of the box, and gets AI assistants like HTC Sense Companion, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The phone features a 5.5-inch 2K display, a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB / 6GB of RAM, 64GB / 128GB of storage, a 12MP UltraPixel 3 rear camera, a 16MP selfie shooter, 4G LTE and a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging.
