Based on earlier leaks and rumours, the new smartphone has been speculated to be the HTC U12 Life, which comes as the lite variant of the latest flagship from the brand. Now, the handset has been spotted on the popular benchmarking website – Geekbench, confirming few of its key specs including the processor onboard.
The upcoming smartphone is seen sporting the model number HTC 2Q6E1 on the benchmarking website. The major revelation from the listing comes in the form of Snapdragon 660 backed by 4GB of RAM. However, the rest of the specs on the listing including Android 8.1 Oreo and 4GB RAM corroborates with the purported specifications of the smartphone, which were leaked earlier. The smartphone managed to score 1,343 in the single-core test and 4,897 in the multi-core test on Geekbench.
As for the spec sheet, earlier leaks suggest that the HTC U12 Life will come with a 6-inch, FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. In the imaging department, the smartphone is likely to come with 16MP + 5MP setup on the back and a 13-megapixel shooter for selfies. On the connectivity front, you get Dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC support. Lastly, the phone will be relying on a 3,600mAh battery for all power requirements. Unfortunately, this is all that is there to know about the upcoming smartphone.
