HTC Wildfire E Lite, Wildfire E Ultra, Wildfire E Star could be in the final stages of development as the phones have received EEC certification. Interestingly, the listing also mentioned HTC U20 5G and Desire 20 Pro handsets that debuted in Taiwan back in June. The EEC certification suggests the handsets could be heading to Europe, but the exact timeline can’t be speculated at the moment. HTC’s Wildfire series majorly focuses on the budget and mid-range segments, so we can expect the upcoming Wildfire E Lite, Wildfire E Ultra, Wildfire E Star to be placed in the same category. Unfortunately, the certification doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming HTC Wildfire phones just yet, but we’ll be on the lookout for more information.

HTC U20 5G and Desire 20 Pro specifications

Talking about the HTC U20 5G, the phone sports a 6.8-inch full HD+ display with 1,080 X 2,400 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with Adreno 620 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. It runs Android 10 OS with a custom layer on top. In terms of cameras, the HTC U20 5G has quad cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP 118-degree ultra-wide-lens, a 2MP 2cm super macro and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP snapper on the front. Connectivity features include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18 fast-charging support and a physical fingerprint sensor.

The HTC Desire 20 Pro, on the other hand, has a relatively smaller 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1,080 X 2,340 pixels resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It ships with the Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 10 OS. Moving to the cameras, the HTC Desire 20 Pro has quad cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-lens, a 2MP 2cm super macro and a 2MP depth sensor. It will have a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast-charging.
