Huawei Honor 6_display_3The Indian smartphone market has changed drastically this year, with local manufacturers like Micromax and Lava, and even new entrants like Xiaomi and ASUS doing heavy damage to the erstwhile leaders. In this do or die situation, it’s important for existing players to do something drastic to capture the attention of buyers, and the best way forward is with price. Unfortunately, companies like Samsung, HTC, Sony and more recently, even BlackBerry, have refused to change their stance, continuing to launch ultra-premium products.
