“The Mate 20 Pro will reportedly feature an AMOLED display and in-display fingerprint sensor”
Huawei has confirmed that its upcoming Mate 20 series will be launched later this year in October with the latest Kirin 980 chipset ticking at its core. The handsets have been the subject of multiple leaks and rumours in the past. And, now hands-on images of the alleged Huawei Mate 20 Pro have surfaced on Weibo – China’s micro-blogging site, giving us a glimpse of the device ahead of the launch.
As per the post, it’ll be another Huawei handset with a notch-toting display. However, it seems like the Mate 20 Pro will sport a curved display – similar to Samsung’s flagship smartphones, and the bezels further reduced to offer an all-display fascia. The cut-out up top further reveals the selfie camera and earpiece, while the right spine of the handset shows the power button and the left edge volume rocker. Unfortunately, the source hasn’t revealed the phone from the rear end; hence we can’t tell the camera configuration of the Mate 20 Pro.
However, past rumours suggest that the Mate 20/ Mate 20 Pro could come with a triple rear camera setup. For security, the phone might house the latest in-display fingerprint sensor on the front. The handset maker is likely to ship the phone with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage space, and glass unibody design for wireless charging. The Mate 20 Pro is also expected to be one of the first devices to come with Android Pie running out of the box.
