Huawei Mate 30 series launch date, specifications
Huawei is yet to announce if and when it’s planning to launch its flagship Mate 30 series. However, a report last week revealed that the company may take the wraps off the handsets at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19th. As for the specifications, both Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are expected to be powered by Huawei’s upcoming HiSilicon Kirin 985 SoC, which will be the successor of the current flagship Kirin 980 chipset. The handsets are also tipped to feature a circular camera module with triple sensors — 40-megapixel + 40-megapixel + 8-megapixel — at the center of the back panel.
The fascia of the Huawei Mate 30 series is likely to boast dual-curved edge-to-edge screen. The phones are expected to have a wide cut-out atop the display that’ll feature a selfie camera and 3D face unlock technology. That’s all the information we can divulge at the moment.
