“The Huawei Mate 30 series is the upcoming flagship from the brand, expected to be unveiled on September 19th”
Huawei Mate 30 series battery capacity has been leaked on the Internet. A new post on Weibo — China’s microblogging platform — claims that both Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro will have a bigger battery compared to their predecessors. Alleged images of the handsets’ battery cell were shared, according to which, the Huawei Mate 30 will house 4,200 mAh unit, while the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will boast 4,500mAh battery. To give you some perspective, the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are driven by 4,000mAh and 4,200mAh battery, respectively. Apart from this, speculations are rife that the Huawei Mate 30 series will be backed by a whopping 55W wired charging and 25W wireless charging tech, which would be the fastest yet.
Huawei Mate 30 series launch date, specifications
Huawei is yet to announce if and when it’s planning to launch its flagship Mate 30 series. However, a report last week revealed that the company may take the wraps off the handsets at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19th. As for the specifications, both Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are expected to be powered by Huawei’s upcoming HiSilicon Kirin 985 SoC, which will be the successor of the current flagship Kirin 980 chipset. The handsets are also tipped to feature a circular camera module with triple sensors — 40-megapixel + 40-megapixel + 8-megapixel — at the center of the back panel.
The fascia of the Huawei Mate 30 series is likely to boast dual-curved edge-to-edge screen. The phones are expected to have a wide cut-out atop the display that’ll feature a selfie camera and 3D face unlock technology. That’s all the information we can divulge at the moment.
