Huawei Mate 40 series launch is set for Thursday, October 22nd, and the lineup will reportedly include the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ models. Now, 91mobiles has learned from tipster Ishan Agarwal that the company plans to launch the Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition as well. The tipster has shared the colour options and storage configuration for the Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition. Additionally, we are also told that Huawei will announce the Mate 30E Pro model tomorrow.

According to the tipster, the Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition will come in Ceramic White, Ceramic Black, and Collector Edition colour options. The smartphone will launch with 8GB RAM paired with 128GB and 512GB storage options. That’s all we know about the Porsche Edition at the moment.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Mate 30E Pro is also said to be announced during tomorrow’s launch event. As the name suggests, this will be part of the Mate 30 series rather than the new Mate 40 lineup. The design of the Mate 30E Pro is said to be similar to the Mate 30 Pro and it will also come in the same six colour options.

Huawei Mate 40 series specifications

Coming back to the Mate 40 series, Huawei is expected to announce three main models – Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+. We recently came across renders of the Mate 40 Pro, which showed off dual punch-hole cameras and a circular camera module at the back. All three models are expected to feature the newest 5nm-based Kirin 9000 SoC. The Mate 40 Pro, in particular, is rumoured to launch with a 50MP primary camera, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. The phone is also expected to support 65W fast charging.
