“The Mate 9 and S2 will offer dual rear cameras from Leica with OIS, laser autofocus and analogue zoom”
In April, Huawei introduced the P9 (review | camera review) and P9 Plus flagships with dual 12-megapixel Leica-certified rear cameras. As per earlier reports, the Huawei Mate 9 will feature a 2.6GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor, aided by up to 6GB of RAM. It will arrive with CDMA support, LTE Cat. 12 connectivity, fast charging support, and EMUI 5 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone will offer a 5.9-inch full HD display, 64GB of expandable storage, and an 8MP selfie shooter. The Mate S2 will allegedly offer a 5.5-inch display, a Kirin 960 SoC, 6GB of RAM, Android Marshmallow, and a 3,500mAh battery. The company is expected to unveil these devices sometime later this year.
