Huawei showcased the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones at its booth in MWC 2018. These handsets come as a successor to the Nova and Nova Plus launched a couple of years ago. Notably, the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus are photography centric offerings with loaded selfie snappers and dual camera modules on the rear panel.
Coming to the spec sheet, the Huawei Nova 2 comes with a 5-inch full HD display, HiSilicon Kirin 659 SOC, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage and a 2,950mAh battery with fast charging. The Nova 2 Plus retains these specs except for the bigger 5.5-inch full HD display and 3,340mAh battery. Both smartphones get a 20MP snapper at the front, and 12MP + 8MP sensors with am f/1.8 aperture on the rear. The primary lens on the dual camera module is a wide-angle lens and the secondary is telephoto. Both smartphones run Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 on top.

Huawei Nova 2 Plus
Huawei is offering these handsets in a host of colour options including Green, Pink, and Blue, apart from Black and Gold. While the handsets are not slated to launch in India, they have already gone on sale in China. On the pricing front, the Huawei Nova 2 costs RMB 2,499 (~Rs 23,500), while the Nova 2 Plus costs RMB 2,899 (~Rs 27,300).
